Habitat for Humanity has been doing builds across the country for this project. They had one at a local church near me a couple months ago. They build the basics of the house, put it together, then take it down in large sections and ship it down south. When it arrives, it's most of the work is already down and it's a matter of putting it back together again and finishing it off. The end result is quicker and more people are able to help with the build locally instead of having to go to New Orleans or Mississippi to do the building.

Habitat is an awesome organization.

You're right MrsB! However, I wouldn't want that girl wielding a hammer anywhere near me crazy.gif She is damn pretty, though... wink.gif

Havelid turned over so many pucks while with the Ducks, I wish he could be the one to turn over the keys to the house. One is a far better turnover than the other!

Nice to see the hockey community involved in projects like these.
