BUFFALO, N.Y. (CP) - The Buffalo Sabres are drawing inspiration from Anaheim's first-round comeback against Calgary after being down 3-2 in their best-of-seven series.

"It's something we know we can do, and we're not just saying that," Sabres co-captain Daniel Briere said Monday. "We've seen it this year in the playoffs. We know we have a lot of character. That's where we have so much confidence that we can do it, because we've bounced back all year from tough outcomes, tough breaks, bad injuries.

It's been a heck of a series so far. But, with the Ducks gone from the playoff picture I can't really pick. I mean, like, I've got m'lady Veca and others rooting for the 'Canes and m'lady GS35 and others cheering on the Sabres. WHAT's a fella to do?

But which ever one of you wins this series make darn sure you drain the Oil while not polluting the countryside.
