RALEIGH, N.C. (CP) - The Carolina Hurricanes know an entire country will be backing the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup final.
And they're not too worried about it.
"You get to this point in the finals, it really doesn't matter who you're playing, even if it was a team in Mexico at this point it would be that intense anyway and that crazy," Hurricanes captain Rod Brind'Amour said Friday.
"I think it's great though that there is a Canadian team because you do get that whole Canadian flare in there and that adds a little more excitement overall."
