Thank you for this wonderous piece of constructive criticism. noexpression.gif These threads will not degenerate into trash talk, there are members on the board that are interested in discussing hockey in this section.

This is my last comment on this matter.

I fear that Kings sign Dan Cloutier, he is able to have GA Avg ~~ 2.50 and SV% over .900 mad.gif

Kings don't have strong defensemans like we but they can reckon in battles about PO eyebrow.gif

Kings might cause a little damage but since Gretzki left they have been a bad team they need that one star that every time in the league is afraid of and they don't have that anymore cause first Marcel Dionne then Wayne but now nothing so I wouldn't be afraid

Rob Blake turned his jersey around, putting the Kings crest in the back and his name in the front.

"It's spelled this way," he said, indicating the letters BLAKE, outlined in silver.

"Not, 'BOOOO.' "
...
Signing Blake was not a sop to Kings fans. Nor was it a case of AEG, the Kings' parent company, trying to make up for its appalling season-ticket price increases by saving fans money: With Blake back, all fans have to do is pull their old jerseys out of the closet instead of buying new sweaters with the name CHARA or ELIAS on the back. How considerate of Philip Anschutz.

And on a more noble note:

QUOTE
He has already boosted that hard-to-define character component by declining Mattias Norstrom's offer to surrender the captaincy.

"My feeling is that Matty is the captain of this team," Blake said. "I would be happy to be involved with that, and I will help him as much as I can."

ana-ban.gif Blake should fear those Kings fans. If he had taken the C from Matty, some of the fans would have run his sorry *** out of town and fast!
Can't wait for the games to begin, this is going to be fun! dribble.gif

You can start your own booing section at the Tampa Bay/LA games you attend. It can be the same section where you get Duckette-ecstatic jumping up and down and cheering when the Ducks come to town. ana-ban.gif

NHL.com -- The Stanley Cup Finalists, Carolina and Edmonton, featured clutch goaltending, mobile defenses and speedy, scoring forwards. Will that continue to be the winning NHL formula and do the Kings have the talent to play that way?

Crawford -- "If you've watched any teams that I've been involved with, they've always had an offensive flair. We'll play at a high pace and tempo. On the West Coast, you have to be able to roll four lines. The top guys will still play the most time. We have the personnel to be a pressuring style team. We still have to play to our strong suit, an active defense and great goaltending, and keep developing strong offensive talents."

The Kings and Los Angeles-based radio station KTLK/1150 have reached an agreement for KTLK to broadcast Kings games in the 2006-07 season.

KTLK/1150 will carry 2006-07 Kings exhibition, regular-season and postseason games, beginning with the Kings-Ducks exhibition game Sept.18 in Anaheim.

Now if only the Ducks can swing a similar deal for all their exhibition games!
