I've been told I move a lot like Hasek. I can do both stand-up and butterfly so my movement in the crease was very versatile.

Wow you play for under 19's and 21's for Team GB? Now that is awesome. I like the fact that you clear your own crease as well!! reminds me of Jiggy and his Smyth facewash!!

Ha yeah the only problem is if I was doing it I would have used my stick not my catcher!

I did that to my bro in practice. I hit him straight across his back and sent him to the ground. It was hilarious. I love clearing my own crease, my D was too chicken to do so...I got slashed in the hand and they just stood there I like hitting people in the back with my blocker

That's the way to do it!!! I remeber one time when I was wearing my ice pads (Bauer Vapor) and the blocker is wafer thin, at least half the thinkness of an ordinary one, and I got this guy in the back of the neck between this helmet and shoulder pads, I ended up getting 5min, as the guy looked like someone had drawn a bit red line across his neck cause I hit him so hard!

Here's a tip for goalies (my personal favourite) but you have to do it while the ref isn't looking.
So the player is trying to screen you in front of the net, place your stick in front of his skates and push with your catcher. Making it so that he trips over your stick. Works like a charm.

So the player is trying to screen you in front of the net, place your stick in front of his skates and push with your catcher. Making it so that he trips over your stick. Works like a charm.

My version of that is to place my stick between the leg's and ram it home!!

I didnt purposely get my stick infront of their skates, but the moron skated through my crease and pulled my stick with him, and popped my already semi-dislocated shoulder out of place. Lets just say I wasn't too happy...

Well, I went to the game with my arm in a sling, and I played the game with it leaning on my stick. It wasn't very strong, which makes sense as to why it just furthered the injury
