Say something nice about the oilers thread.
They started something like this on their boards and it would be interesting to see what NICE things we could say about their organization. biggrin.gif

They took Wings out of the playoffs. biggrin.gif

During the Cup Finals, the respect that the fans showed for both anthems by singing their hearts was truly inspiring. And they used to be one of the best teams in the league, back in the 80's that is.

I had a question rd, but I see that DK has beaten me to it.

So, I'll ask a different question.
If the lemmings go over a cliff, should we follow suit? hmm.gif

There are threads for EVERY NHL team created by Ahti in this forum. If you want to post stuff like this post it there, IMO. Of course you may have to search for them and scroll and that would be harder tan just starting new threads rolleyes.gif

I think this thread is alright. The Oilers thread is more for business, this thread is mor for fun. Best not to fuse the two together. wink.gif

Cool thread.
I have a friend who just got back from Edmonton (he was there working during their cup run and he got back last week) and I got to talk to him yesterday. The amount of pride that their fans have is just amazing. Great fanbase, and they have a hard-working team.

It's where Gretzky started his career. Without Gretzky, there'd be no Ducks.

Oilers suck but their fans are Canadian, so that's good, plus they have Lupul now....that's sad.

When I go to the games, I get to hear O Canada. That's about the only good thing I can say. Also, their fans left my 9 year old speechless. Literally. Head to toe body paint, speedos and sandals only, wrapped in a Canadian flag. Poor kid didn't know what to do or say.
