Explorer User Prompt

I can't view the main page, everywhere else I'm fine, but on the main forums page it asks me about 10 times to do the Explorer User Prompt, then it opens some sort of a paint program.
Is this something the board is doing, or is it something wrong with my internet, or my profile? Anything?

EDIT: That sounds very much like a firewall issue. Maybe it is the Javascript like forebsy told me, or it could have something to do with a firewall that came when MT bought the new stuff after the hacking incident.

I just checked Internet Explorer and I'm not having any problems with the page except for slow loading.

I put the site the file was trying to download from (ygqvftewol.biz) in my restricted sites and that seemed to work on not having the prompt or file come up. I've done this on my work PC, haven't tried it or tried going back on here at home yet. Probably won't get a chance to as I'm airborn tomorrow.

I've also been noticing that since this has been happening I've been getting signed out of other Invision Boards randomly.

Perhaps Firefox is ignoring the specific Micro$oft scripting requests and is immune to the problem. The anti-viral software would otherwise be catching and quarantining any virus trying to infect the operating system.

Uhh, more like the reverse...IE allows websites to install software automatically (plugins, viruses, etc.) while FF does not. Since the virus is only happening to people running IE it sounds like someone found a way to exploit one of the MANY security holes in MSIE.

Ahti has been saying on the fantasy league that he hasn't been able to get on All Ducks in the last few days. I wonder if this is what's causing his problem.
I wasn't sure what to tell him, so I simply told him to contact MT.
