"Limbo lower now."

What doesn't make any sense, to me, is how can ownerships offer and players accept contracts if both sides feel there is going to be a lockout. What does a contract mean for parties concerned? confused.gif It doesn't make sense, to me again, to sign someone up and then turn around and lock them out. no.gif

Call me naive, call me what you will, I don't think there will be a lockout. Maybe no pre-season, but I feel we will be seeing NHL hockey.

Ha! Spoken like an agent who doesn't want to lose his lucrative comissions. That's who I really blame for this fiasco...the greedy agents. dry.gif

If they call you that then they will have to call me that too!

I too have a feeling that we will see NHL hockey next year. Don't ask me why, but I just do. :tu:

Ahhh, and didn't J.S.'s agent nearly lead him to miss camp? J.S. had to take matters into his own hand and settle last minute last season. IF it was up to the agent, J.S. may never have played last season. Given his performance, some of you might think that would have been ok, but there was talk that the agent was shopping J.S. and I'd rather not loose him. Bad season, yes, but he is going to be one of the all time greats! He belongs with the Mighty Ducks!!!

I feel we will see hockey in about December/January time. They will see what they are doing to the game (hopefully) and reach an agreement.

OK, bad joke alert, but every time I see this topic I think that I have never wanted a career in limbo. My back isn't very flexible anyway, and I don't think there is much money to be made in limbo anyway.

I am a hopeful fan too... I think we will be seeing the Mighty Ducks play the '04-'05 season and it should be a good one at that. GO DUCKS!!!!
