Wow, this guy is a pill. It's not like Detroit is chopped liver. He kind of badmouthed Buffalo when he left there too.

He's a strange one. Retire, un-retire. Good luck to which ever team ends up with him. He's going to be a handfull.

So Hasek is several bricks shy of a load, a couple sandwiches short of a picnic, nuttier than a fruitcake, and as loony as a Toon. This is news to anybody? That’s what made him a good goalie, and probably requires that his wife have special training in aberrant psychology. Even after he retires, (for real) he will continue to be a source of amusement for us all.
But consider, he is not alone. An awful lot of athletes would be knocking around in padded rooms like a BB in a boxcar if they didn’t have some sort of exceptional talent useful to some sports team. Anybody remember Al Hrabosky, The Mad Hungarian?? Bill Lee, The Spaceman? Theo Fleury?????
Hell, even Patty Roy talked to his goalposts. And I really do believe he fully expected them to answer!!

It makes sense...just not sure Ottawa should bank on Hasek...he is injury prone and yes he has won the Cup but he hasn't shown too much since he unretired. I hope the Sens know what they are getting...I think they should go with Lalime this season.
