With the All Star Game coming up on January 24 in Dallas, it's time to start picking players. Who would you pick?

Teemu, Scotty, Chris, Jiggy ...

From other guys I would notice Fernandez, Turco, Morrow, Rolston, Sykora, Sedin twins, Timonen, Thornton, Michalek, Hartnell, Lidström, Sakic, Kopitar.

East: Hossa, Jagr, Kovalchuk, Nylander, Afinogenov, Lecavalier, Crosby, Briere, Shanahan, Sundin, Ovechkin, Vanek, Tallinder, Komisarek, Lydman, McCabe, Miller, Raycroft...

I don't recall ... is this going to be an Eastern vs Western Conference matchup, or a North America vs World?

Since they're playing so well right now, the east should be represented by the Flyers.

I prefer the East v West competitions over the NA v RoW. Somehow, it is just more fun. Perhaps it is because there is more pride and competition between the East and West, as opposed to players playing against regular teammates just because they are from Europe.

Do you mean the last season an All Star game was played? Last season there wasn't an NHL All Star game because the Olympics were held.

It should be west vs. east if the NHL is commited to the fans. This way you can root for your confrence.

Ducks that should go, Pronger and S. Nieds

Ducks I would like to see, D. Penner in the rookie game if they have it and of course Teemu

I think the Pens fans are stuffing the ballot! East Voting

I can understand Crosby, but are you honestly telling me that Crosby, Malkin and Fleury are all at the top because that is who the entire league fans have voted for?

I would have thought Miller or Broduer would be beating Fleury in the goalie ranking, and I personally would have had Ovechkin above both Crosby and Malkin. But hey, I'm more concerned with the west anyway. biggrin.gif
