A taste from the article:

They ignore the fans at their own peril. After all, if it weren't for fans plunking down their hard-earned cash for tickets, concessions and licensed merchandise, the NHL would be nothing more than a Saturday night beer league and its players would have to get real jobs.

It's the support of hockey fans that earned the NHL over $2 billion last season. They're the league's true employees, and while most won't abandon the NHL in the even of a lockout, it's a sure bet there won't be as many of them afterwards.

Thoughts, opinions, ideas, rants? Feel free to let your voice be heard. Although it will be your fellow ALLDUCKS members who will hear. I doubt the NHLPA and/or the NHL monitor us.

It's obvious that the NHL and NHLPA know where we fans stand on the issue. They are doing a good job of keeping us in the loop.
