Could someone, anyone give the Flames a loss to break the streak they are one. Sorry... it would just bring me a bit of satisfaction.

Phoenix over Minnesota, but the real shocker is Laraque with two assists.

Unfortunately Kipper still unbeatable...
In the Minnesota-Phoenix game Carney took a puck to the head in the first and I don't believe he returned.

The game seemed to turn when Laraque fought with Minnesota's Derek Boogaard less than two minutes after Parrish scored.

The coach of the New York Rangers had seen enough, and he let his team know it in-between periods.
"Well, it wasn't musical," Renney said after New York turned a two-goal deficit into a 3-2 victory over the Devils on Tuesday night. "This year, that was maybe as passionate as I've been."

The Flames thought they had struck again later when Langkow's pass across to Tanguay was one-timed on goal from nearly the same spot, but this time Sanford was able to make a brilliant save stabbing the puck with his glove.
Sanford strained a groin on the play, and after video review confirmed the puck did not cross the goal-line, he was replaced by Manny Legace.

BTW Boogard's left knee gave out in the fight with Laraque. I wonder if he's going to be out for a while...

Opponents have kept their distance from Derek Boogaard since he fractured the cheekbone of Todd Fedoruk during a fight on October 27. One player that has never backed down from the Boogeyman, and has actually had success against him, is the fearsome Georges Laraque, an offseason signing of the Coyotes.
...
17:27 - You know there's not going to be many guys in the NHL who will take on Boogaard anymore, but Georges Laraque is one of them. The two pair off in front of the Coyote net, and after a long posing session, Boogaard goes in after him. He throws a couple haymakers, but Laraque grabs hold of Boogey's jersey and that leads to more of a wrestling match with Laraque falling on top of Boogaard.

Sorry it's late, but our truck wouldn't start and we had to take the bus home. Fun stuff.
Anyway, I got to see the last 4 minutes of the Min/Pho game. Great win for Phoenix! They were down 2-0 but came back to win 4-3. Laraque fought Boogaard and got two assists (as stated above). Dang, I wish the Ducks had gotten Georges. He's a character guy, can chip in with a point or two every now and then, and kicks butt. Free Laraque!

Forty-seven seconds after Laraque and Boogaard dropped the gloves, Perreault scored the first of his goals to cut Minnesota's lead to 2-1.
Although the fight appeared to be a draw, Boogaard injured his leg when he fell to the ice and Laraque landed on him.
Saprykin said said the brawl "was like a battery jump."
