Ok, so as promised to DTP... here are the pictures from my ceremonial puck drop at the T-birds v Winterhawks game on November 4th... I apologize if they are huge, but I don't have photoshop at work to be able to resize them...

The pre-drop pose - all smiles now!

What are you trying to say? hmm.gif
Did you not shake hands with the Seattle player also? hmm.gif
Do I detect - dare I say it - a bit of predjudice toward Portland players? eyebrow.gif

Reb: Yes, I did shake Gagnon's hand - first, before my hand was contaminated by Bailey... He picked up the puck and handed it to me, then shook my paw. Then, Bailey offered to shake and thank me for being there, so I gratiously did. However, my hand became corroded so I had to wash! Ha ha ha ha!!!! Actually, Bailey was very cool and the good folk in the T-birds front office are arranging for him to come sign my and Amanda's pucks (she drops hers on 12/29) after the next game when they are in town. Of course, Gagnon will have signed it too...

Ahti: The T-birds are playing in Tri-City on the 1st and at home on the 2nd while we're still in Vancouver. We are going over to Victoria on Friday, however, to catch the Victoria Salmon Kings game.... their goalie is none other than the fabulous Bryan Bridges who was the T-birds #1 last year... but he "graduated." So now he gets paid... good for him!

The picture of you shaking hands with the Portland guy looks like Pronger shaking hands with Shannon! So how did you get the lucky honors of doing the puck drop? Cool stuff to put in the memory books.

Aw, that's sweet! I guess it just shows what we Duck fans will do in the service of hockey! We didn't get our pucks autographed, actually...the captain of the 'Hawks when Caduck got her puck was traded out East, and I didn't catch Sceviour either. But We'll be able to get Gags to sign ours any old time...and he's really the one who matters! wink.gif
