Toronto Maple Leafs:
Projected lineup vs. Boston:
Forwards:
Ponikarovsky - Antropov - Wellwood
Steen - Stajan - O'Neill
Battaglia - Peca - Tucker
Kilger - Pohl - Belak
Defence:
Kaberle - McCabe
Bell - Kubina
Gill - White
Goal: Aubin
Scratch: Suglobov
Notes: Kaberle on an 8-game points streak (7 G, 8 A). McCabe has 3 G, 6 A over the same stretch. Kaberle and McCabe are T1 and T3 (with Pronger and Niedermayer) for points by defencemen. Kubina will play only his 4th game of the season after missing 5 weeks with a sprained MCL and to attend the birth of his daughter in the CZR. Aubin allowed 2 goals on 7 shots and Thomas allowed 3 goals on 10 shots in the Leafs/Bruins game one week ago. - TSN
Boston Bruins:
Projected lineup vs. Toronto:
Forwards:
Axelsson - Savard - Murray
Sturm - Bergeron - Boyes*
Primeau - Kessel - Donovan
Chistov - Mowers - Tenkrat
Defence:
Chara - Alberts
B. Stuart - Mara
Jurcina - Dempsey
Goal: Thomas
Scratches: York
Notes: Boyes was a gametime decision and got the green light. He suffered an undisclosed injury last night in Washington, although Boyes' linemate Bergeron said it's an "upper body-lower body thing". We suspect it's in the kidney area. Yan Stastny was been called up in case Boyes couldn't go. - TSN
Calgary Flames: The Flames lines in Thursday's skate were the same as Wednesday. Coach Playfair said Friesen is further along than they thought he would be. He will be a game time decision on Friday. - TSN
Detroit Red Wings:
Thursday Skate:
Forwards:
Zetterberg - Williams - Lang
Hudler - Datsyuk - Samuelsson
Maltby - Draper - Cleary
Franzen - Holmstom - Filppula
Kopecky
Notes: The Wings ran passing drills, 3-on-0s and 3-2s after a forced turnover at the defensive blueline, PP drills, defending the cycle, defensive zone coverage, 2-on-1s and a quick conditioning skate at the end. It looks like Jason Wiliams is very close to a return. - TSN
San Jose Sharks: Jonathan Cheechoo may have suffered a sprained knee in last night's match against the Avs. The severity of the injury will be determined later today but sources report the injury to be considerably more serious than day to day. - TSN
Dallas Stars: The leg injury suffered by forward Jere Lehtinen on Wednesday does not appear to be serious. - Fort-Worth Star Telegram
Phoenix Coyotes: Centre Mike Ricci has been sent down the AHL on a conditioning stint, and will play on Friday and Saturday. - Phoenix Coyotes
Buffalo Sabres: Ryan Miller was in net for Wednesday's practice for the first time since straining a muscle. His return date is still unknown. - Buffalo News
Minnesota Wild: Forward Marian Gaborik has finally be placed on the injured reserve list with his groin injury. Defenceman Keith Carney was back at practice on Wednesday after being hit behind his ear on Tuesday by an Ed Jovanovski shot. Jacques Lemaire will decide later today if he will play tonight. - Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune
Colorado Avalanche: Centre Pierre Turgeon will not be back in the Colorado lineup until December, as his rehab from rotator cuff surgery is progressing slower than originally thought. Defenceman Jordan Leopold returned to practice on Wednesday, but there is no set date for his return. - Denver Post
Detroit Red Wings: Goaltender Chris Osgood should be available on Friday when Detroit plays in Calgary. The club also expects forward Tomas Holmstrom to return. - Detroit News
Chicago Blackhawks: Nikolai Khabibulin will dress as the backup goaltender tonight when the Blackhawks play the Coyotes. Brian Boucher will be the starter. - Chicago Sun-Times

I'm not clear on the finer points of SO rules, but I'd like to know why Erat's goal didn't count.

AZ commentators:
"Yes, it is a bench minor so the referees heard something they didn't like."
I'm guessing that it was Wayne screaming "F*** OFF!"...but it's just a guess.

Its interesting because from watching the reply it did not look like he touched it again.. it looked like it hit the post and then then the goalie put it in.... Oh well.. I guess I did see it differently then the Toronto peeps
Exactly, that's what I saw. That's why I'm thinking 1) Toronto is blind (like I said, that's entirely possible
He didn't touch the rebound...not to say he didn't try.

Kings went up 2 goals (3 depending on when the ref *thought* about blowing the whistle) and Philly just came back to score 2 to tie it up.
_____________
Sheesh, there were about 8 guys crammed into the crease! And the puck didn't go in.
7.3 left, PHI penalty, Kings empty net....

I think Wayne's head is near the explosion point again.

I'm guessing that it was Wayne screaming "F*** OFF!"...but it's just a guess.
Or maybe it was this??
