Regarding New Jersey - The Devils, not a sweater

Wed Nov 22, 2006 AWAY Coyotes 1 - 3 L
Fri Nov 24, 2006 AWAY Ducks 2 - 4 L
Sat Nov 25, 2006 AWAY Sharks 0 - 2 L
Mon Nov 27, 2006 AWAY Kings

Am I just being really, really revengeful, or wouldn't it be a hoot to see another L tonight for the evil ones. Even if it does give the Kings 2 points? biggrin.gif

A hoot it is. wink.gif Besides, it'd take the Queens quite some time to catch up to the Ducks, if ever. ana-ban.gif

QUOTE
Updated Monday, November 27
Toronto Maple Leafs:

Forwards:
Wellwood - Sundin - Ponikarovsky
O'Neill - Stajan - Tucker
Battaglia - Peca - Antropov
Pohl - Steen - Suglobov

Defence:
White - Gill
Kubina - Bell
McCabe - Belak

Notes: Kaberle was sent home sick. Should be okay for tomorrow vs. Boston

Steen has been demoted to the fourth line but is happy he's back at his natural centre position. Paul Maurice thinks this might be a good fit to get him going. Says there are 7 or 8 natural centres on this team and he's still finding out which ones work. - TSN

Anaheim Ducks: Jean-Sebastien Giguere didn't offer specifics for his injury but said it isn't similar to the groin and hamstring problems that plagued him last season and that he's 99% percent sure he'll be playing in Edmonton on Tuesday. The Ducks could also get Ilya Bryzgalov back by midweek. - LA Times

Boston Bruins: Hannu Toivonen was recalled from Providence after playing five games for the AHL club, including three in the past three days. Toivonen was 1-4 with a 3.33 goals-against average in the five AHL appearances. - Boston Herald

Placed D Nathan Dempsey on waivers. - TSN

Chicago Blackhawks: Any optimism the Blackhawks had that winger Martin Havlat might return to the lineup for their next game disappeared Sunday. Havlat skated by himself at American Heartland Ice Arena in Lincolnwood, but coach Trent Yawney said Havlat isn't ready to join his teammates yet. Defenseman Adrian Aucoin underwent treatment for his sore groin during the Hawks' off-ice workout. He missed his first game Friday and Yawney ruled his captain out of Wednesday's game, as well. Yawney called Aucoin's status "more or less day-to-day." - Chicago Sun-Times

Placed C Craig MacDonald on waivers. - TSN

Dallas Stars: Brenden Morrow is going to stay home to start the Stars' road trip and work on the sore groin that he tweaked Friday in a 5-3 win over Los Angeles. Loui Eriksson is expected to take his place in the lineup. - Dallas Morning News

Edmonton Oilers: Jeff Deslauriers has been called up to backup Dwayne Roloson. Jussi Markannen took a shot off the knee from Matt Greene in the warmup against Chicago. - TSN

Florida Panthers: Rostislav Olesz's one-week experience in the minors is over, with the second-year winger expected to rejoin the Panthers today in Montreal. In anticipation of his return, the team reassigned forwards David Booth and Drew Larman to Rochester of the AHL on Sunday, hours before Olesz played his fourth and final game with the Rochester Americans. Florida also placed winger Juraj Kolnik on injured reserve retroactive to last Tuesday. - Sun Sentinel

You kinda got your revenge QMU! laugh.gif

LA wins in a shootout. Kopitar with the deciding goal as the first shooter. Elias, Brown, and Gionta got saves made on them, then Frolov seals it by putting it past Brodeur.

Final scores tonight:

Devils Die in the West....
Wed Nov 22, 2006 AWAY Coyotes 1 - 3 L
Fri Nov 24, 2006 AWAY Ducks 2 - 4 L
Sat Nov 25, 2006 AWAY Sharks 0 - 2 L
Mon Nov 27, 2006 AWAY Kings 2 - 3 OT (leave it to the Kings to screw up the perfect revenge!)

But I'll take this!!! I think I might these scores and frame them and put them up next to my SCF puck from 2003.
