Holy Velveeta! That's Cheesy flying through the air!

So, the laws of gravity don't apply in those first two?
Holy Velveeta! That's Cheesy flying through the air!
That must've been some grater to have tossed him like that, eh?
EDIT: Gravity made up for it in the third one.
What goes up, must come down ...

Vancouver Canucks:
Projected lineup vs. Edmonton:
Forwards:
D Sedin - H Sedin - Naslund
Kesler - Morrison - Pyatt
Linden - Chouinard or Bulis - Cooke
Bouck - Rypien - Burrows
Ohlund - Salo
Mitchell - Krajicek
Bieksa - Edler
Goal: Luongo
Notes: Bulis or Chouinard will be scratched along with Santala. Canucks have won 4 of last 5 at home. The offence is ranked dead last in the league in goals per game (2.15), scoring just five goals in last five games. Their two PP goals on Saturday snapped an 0-for-14 slump. Matt Cooke is back after missing Saturday's game with a rib injury. - TSN
Edmonton Oilers:
Projected lineup vs. Canucks:
Forwards:
Sykora - Horcoff - Lupul
Torres - Stoll - Pisani
Winchester - Reasoner - Thoreson
Jacques - Petersen - Pouliot
Defence:
Tjarnqvist - Smith
Smid - Staios
Bergeron - Green
Goal: Roloson
Notes: Two points separate first and last in the Northwest division. Oilers are looking to snap a 3-game losing skid, having been outscored 14-5 and going 0-for-10 on PP. Ryan Smyth and Ales Hemsky are out. Dwayne Roloson was pulled in his last two outings. - TSN
Montreal Canadiens:
Projected lineup vs. Boston:
Forwards:
Ryder - Koivu - Latendresse
Kovalev - Plekanec - Samsonov
Johnson - Bonk - Perezhogan
Downey or Streit - Murray - Begin
Defence:
Souray - Rivet
Markov - Komisarek
Bouillon - Dandeneault
Goal: Huet
Notes: Craig Rivet has a wrist injury but is in the line-up tonight. There is a chance the club will dress seven defencemen just in case. If they do, Mark Streit is in. - TSN
Ottawa Senators:
Projected Lines vs. Islanders (Tuesday):
Forwards:
Heatley - Spezza - Kelly
Schaefer - Vermette - Alfredsson
Neil - Fisher - Eaves
Hamel - McAmmond - McGrattan
Defence:
Volchenkov - Corvo
Phillips - Meszaros
Schubert - Preissing
Goal: Gerber
Notes: Joe Corvo was on the ice today wearing a visor. He took a puck in the face on Saturday and needed stitches over his left eye. Corvo says he doesn't like wearing it but will try it for a while. All of the Sens' defencemen now wear visors. Peter Schaefer did not skate in practice. He was out before practice and then left. Sore upper body, he should play on Tuesday. Martin Gerber will be making just his second start since November 13th. The PP units were as follows: Unit 1 was Heatley Spezza - Alfredsson with Meszaros - Corvo and Unit 2 was - Schaefer - Fisher - Neil Schubert - Preissing. Dany Heatley, 8th in league scoring (16-17-33), will play his 300th game Tuesday (317 career points). Tom Preissing (5th according to the club's defencemen depth chart) is second in the league in Plus/Minus with a +18. The Sens have scored 11 goals in their last two games. Of the club's 19 skaters (including Wade Redden) only four have failed to register a point over that span: Volchenkov, Neil, Hamel, McGrattan. - TSN
Anaheim Ducks: Making his first appearance since suffering a lower-body injury during practice Nov. 20, Ducks goalie Ilya Bryzgalov left 7:26 into the third period after being injured again. Bryzgalov struggled to rise after having denied Alexander Frolov on a breakaway. It was undetermined whether the latest injury is related to the previous one, head coach Randy Carlyle said. Bryzgalov will be re-evaluated today, with the likelihood that the Ducks will recall a goalie from the minor leagues before Wednesday's home game against Nashville. - Orange County Register
Boston Bruins: Head coach Dave Lewis will tab Tim Thomas again tonight against the Canadiens. It will be Thomas's sixth straight start and 13th in the last 14 games. After tonight, Thomas will have appeared in 19 straight games. Paul Mara is questionable because of his deep left thigh contusion. Mara, who didn't practice yesterday, underwent ice and heat treatment. Mara said he's not worried about calcification in the thigh at this point. He has sat out the last two games. Wayne Primeau was the third Bruin not to practice yesterday, but he's available tonight. - Boston Globe
Boston Bruins: P.J. Axelsson, who missed Saturday's game because of pain in his left foot, is doubtful for tonight against Montreal and will have a MRI to check for a possible fracture. - Boston Herald
Chicago Blackhawks: Head coach Denis Savard will make a decision on Martin Havlat's return either today or Tuesday, but even if Havlat were to need another game or two to make sure the ankle he sprained back in October is 100 percent, the Hawks have confidence they can keep winning without him. - Daily Herald Times
Colorado Avalanche: Jose Theodore, who suffered a hip flexor injury in the game Saturday in Vancouver, British Columbia, was feeling better Sunday and might be able to practice today. - Rocky Mountain News
Dallas Stars: Brenden Morrow (groin), Trevor Daley (concussion) and Steve Ott (ankle) are out for the game on Monday against San Jose. Darryl Sydor (arm) and Antti Miettinen (lower body) are questionable. - Dallas Morning News
Los Angeles Kings: Mathieu Garon, who suffered a groin injury as practiced ended on Wednesday, will not return to the ice until he has passed two strength tests. Those tests have yet to be scheduled and his chances of playing Thursday against the Nashville Predators are slim. - LA Times
Phoenix Coyotes: Mikael Tellqvist is going to make his debut in the Coyotes' net tonight vs. Nashville. Head coach Wayne Gretzky said Jeremy Roenick, who was scratched from Thursday's game because of an upper respiratory illness, would be back in the lineup tonight. Gretzky said he had yet to decide who would be benched to make room for Roenick. Mike Comrie continues to practice with his teammates, but it's unclear when he'll play in a game. Comrie is expected to have his broken right foot X-rayed. - Arizona Republic
Pittsburgh Penguins: John LeClair was not claimed on waivers. - TSN

I was looking down so I didn't see what Tellqvist did, but I swear the PHX announcer almost said, "Holy s***!"
Isn't he annoying though? Crazy inflection
Dallas already seriously depleted with injuries lost Modano in tonight's game

I wasn't watching long enough, or focusing on the game enough to notice.
Aw, what happened to Mikey?

OT rant. Was looking over the top 10 plays of the last week in the NHL at TSN. Do they know there is a western conference in the league, almost every play came from the east except for one with Naslund from Vancouver. Don't the writers, etc have some obligation to keep tuned in to the games with teams in the west? Maybe we just didn't have any good plays.
Maybe the Western Conference just ain't good enough for the East....
