Except he's not a Duck. He plays for Nashville. That's why there's a forum for ex-Ducks. This forum is for Duck players wink.gif

He sure showed it last night.

That game reminded me why I often called him a ghost.

I, for one, strongly believe that Mikhail Shtalenkov will finish his career in an Anaheim Ducks jersey. We don't need no stinkin' Giguere or Bryzgalov.

While we're at it, we should pick up Terry Yake. He's the perfect first-line center we need to set up Selanne and Kunitz.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Dominic Roussel is the man ana-ban.gif rolleyes.gif

No love for Greg Neumenko, eh.

And, it's just my opinion, but the forward we're most likely to bring back is Sean Pronger.

We already added the orange to the uniforms, now it's time to take away Philly's "City of Brotherly Love" title. smile.gif

As far as hating Kariya it's easy. He ABANDONED the organiization after we were one game from the holy grail. Then he said someting to the effect of different result, next year. The contract with Colorado was insulting at 1 year/$1 mil after getting approx. $71 mil over 9 years from the Ducks. The day he left I felt like I had a knife in the back.

Kariya is a good player but we as Duck fans, don't have to respect him. Kariya may have put the Ducks on the NHL map but if it wasn't for "The Great One" being in LA there would be no Ducks.

Amen.

and let me add, giving credit to Kariya for something Gretzky did is incredibly insulting.

I have to admit I was a HUGE fan of him when he was on the Ducks. I know that he didn't "abandon" us, you guys take things to personal. He simply went looking for other oppertunites. If you were a hockey player, I am sure you would of done the same thing. Besides it is probable Selanne and Kariya make up there mind of going to Colorado before the 2003 run happened. I am not saying I like him now, but I would glady like to see him back with Teemu. Maybe Teemu's stellar play well spark him to come back to Anaheim.

Hey now ... Shields is still living here locally and he did attend Ducks training camp last year.

Ding dong Kariya's gone
Yes he is, we know he is
Ding dong we all know that he's gone.

Hey, ho where did he go?
We don't know, we like it though.
Ding dong Kariya's really gone.

He's gone where the money's right
Yoho, and now we know
He's gone and now we like to laugh and sing this song.

So, ding dong Kariya's good and gone!

...sung to the tune from the munchkins in Oz -- quite appropriate I think! wink.gif

Yikes! I've smelled the stinky gloves. I'm not going near ANY of those jock straps. No way. No how.

I don't worship any other part of him, either. But at least I don't act as immature as Kings fans who never gave up booing Rob Blake.

I think most of the forum has learned by now: never take anything I say seriously.

Including this statement about not taking me seriously.

yeah another Paul Kariya Fan, where every Paul-Fan tries to convince the Paul-Haters banana.gif .
I think we should stop that senseless discussions. It would be the best, if their exists a thread for Paul Fans and a thread for people who hates him. That would solve the most Paul problems here, or all Paul Fans visit the forum of my website (no Anti-Paul-Fans allowed wink.gif)

Ghost crazy.gif . He was one of few Predator players, which played strong against the Ducks. And it wasn't very easy for him to play, because everytime he had the puck, many ducks fans started to boo... eyebrow.gif
