End of first. They had an interview with Ovy and Malkin I believe yesterday about both of their experiences. Ovy was the translator since he knows English better than Malks.

Even-steven past the halfway mark in the 3rd:
I don't know if "even steven" is quite accurate....blowing a 4-0 lead
Suppose I could've just said "tied" ... but it still is knotted at 4 goals a piece in the closing minutes of the 3rd.

Glad they got it all tied up for Aeryn when she finally got to a TV. Very considerate of the boys.
It was also nice of them to go to OT so I could see Malkin's SO winner.... Beautiful goal!

Montreal Canadiens: Forward Steve Begin (rib injury) and defenceman Sheldon Souray (right wrist injury) missed practice on Monday. Defenceman Francis Bouillion didn't skate, either. All three are doubtful for Tuesday's matchup against the Bruins. Souray had an MRI on his right wrist on Sunday which proved negative. He told TSN and RDS that he wanted to play on Tuesday, but head coach Guy Carbonneau remains doubtful. Carbonneau also revealed his choice of goaltender for the game: David Aebischer. Chris Higgins once again skated with his teammates although he was green-shirted (no contact). Carbonneau says he'll play sometime this week, the earliest being Thursday against Tampa Bay. He'll more likely play against the Penguins Saturday on Montreal's fourth line. Given the bodies that are hurting, the Habs called up Maxim Lapierre from Hamilton. - TSN
Toronto Maple Leafs: Jean-Sebastien Aubin will get the start in goal when the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday night. - TSN
Boston Bruins: The team has placed netminder Brian Finley on waivers. - TSN
Minnesota Wild: Brent Burns, who had played most of his games at wing this season, played the point on Saturday and apparently will be behind the blue line for the foreseeable future. - Pioneer Press
Philadelphia Flyers: Mike Richards learned he is scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday, and Geoff Sanderson will likely follow. According to GM Paul Holmgren, both players (abdominal strains) are scheduled to go under the knife pending MRI's and are expected to be out for at least four weeks. - Philadelphia Inquirer
Also, the Flyers have placed forward Niko Dimitrakos on re-entry waivers. - TSN
San Jose Sharks: The Sharks will continue to experiment with left wing Mark Bell at the point on the power play. "We've got to practice him a little bit more on breakouts, but it's to get shots from the point," coach Ron Wilson said. "If our D don't want to shoot the puck, I'll put a forward back there." The Sharks have had some success using centre Patrick Marleau on the point. "Mark Bell has done it successfully in the past in Chicago," Wilson said. "Maybe this will give him an opportunity to get on the power play in a position he's comfortable with." - Contra Costa Times

Wasn't that some television ad slogan??
OMG - Where to start on those pictures?!
And I thought you'd enjoy those too!
Gotta love the rally helmets! And how come the Ducks haven't tried 'em yet?
Because Perry and Kunitz haven't even started a shootout ritual of their own yet??

No need to reinvent the wheel - the rally helmets have proven effective already.
