Last year there were 7 teams in the Austrian Hockey League. This year there are 8 teams and one of them is from Slovenia, but that is only the beginning from something big. Another team from Slovenia made an application to play in the Austrian Hockey League. But that isn't the end, now some teams from Bavaria (Germany), Italy and Slovakia are interested too to play in Austrians Top League.
