I do believe they are open on Sundays depending on events being held. I vaguely recall their hours posted on their store window as open at 10 a.m. each day, but closing at various times on the weekday and weekend. Since there's nothing on the Pond calendar for Aug. 20, they're probably open regular hours.

You can call the Pond at (714) 704-2400 to verify the Team Store's hours.

Unfortunately, the store is not open Sunday... I wish they were, it's the easiest day for me to get up there!!

On a somewhat related topic... has anyone found any new Ducks merchandise ANYWHERE in town besides the team store? I've checked some mall stores, Sport Chalet, Chick's, Sportmart/Sports Authority... nothing at all, not even a t-shirt or hat!

i didnt think they were open on sundays either. because the excel energy center wasnt open on sunday, and the united center also wasnt open on sundays, which pissed me off because i couldnt get a puck to show id been there.

some sports authorities have jerseys(aways), and hockey giant has each teams jerseys without the patches so you can make em how ya like em. and if youre totally nuts crazy for a jersey, theres a store in the mall of america in minnesota that has every jersey imaginable (including the old sabres and the sky blue pens jersey). hope it helps.

theres a hockey giant in anehiem, so my friend says...

I don't think Hockey Giant would have them ahead of the team store, but I think I may have to find out. Unless someone has beaten me to it.

Can anybody give me the 800 number for the team store at the pond. I must have misplaced the plastic bag from my last order. Is the place going to be busy friday and if so what time should I try to call to order my new jersey? Does the team store now carry jersey T-shirts?

Thanks

714-940-2990 is the # for the team store. smile.gif

-Don't think it will be too busy on Friday.

-Last two questions you should ask them.

Hope this helps! smile.gif

So far, only NHL.com has the jerseys. Nobody else I've seen does, and trust me, I've seen lots. But hey, you could get a small, they can grow into it!

The 800 number would be better so I don't have to pay long distance.

Training camp is at Anaheim Ice, not at the Pond, so you won't have to worry about the store. My husband avoids long distance charges by using his unlimited minutes on his cell phone. Don't know if you can do the same thing.

You can actually call information for 800 numbers as well if you still need that number.

The Ducks store has orange short-sleeved Reebok t-shirts for Pronger and Niedermayer, as well as a black short-sleeved Old Time Hockey t-shirt for Niedermayer. These shirts have the name and number on the back and a Ducks logo on the front, I suppose it could be referred to as a jersey t-shirt, even if it doesn't really look that much like the jersey (none of the hockey jersey t-shirts do, in my opinion).

The Ducks are allowed by NHL rules to start selling the jersey Friday, September 15 (that's tomorrow), I do not know if they will be in stock or not. As a result, the team store may be quite busy tomorrow, but I am sure you will be able to shop there with no problems.

Hope this helps a bit...

According to today's team roster flyer, the Team Store opens tomorrow, Sat., Sep. 16, at 9 a.m. "The new Anaheim Ducks jersey will be available for purchase exclusively ..."

Yea I called around 10am wasn't able to order my Jersey than they had to sort out the preorders(BTW I think all preorders are blank jerseys because one time I called they were unable to give me a price on a players jerseys)

I called twice this afternoon stuck on hold both times.

Guess I will call them back Monday afternoon.

I was at the team store today…jersey’s go on sale tomorrow. They were unloading boxes of jerseys while I was there, it looks like you can only buy blanks for now, however they did have a white Beauchemin jersey behind the counter that looked awesome.

I picked up an orange long-sleeve T and a black hooded sweatshirt, both have the new logo on the chest…the new colors and logo are FRIGGIN AWESOME….they look great in person.

Fyi….the team store does not have all the merchandize available yet, so don’t be disappointed if they don’t have what you’re looking for.

actually they went on sale today. i purchased a personalized pronger jersey and it was done in two hrs. i had to request an A on it so they actually took an A out of the Selanne kit. all you had to do was buy a blank jersey and get it personalized.
