Well, it's working. It's going really really slow, but at least it's working.

It is back, but VERY slow. And 'View New Posts' lists the last post on this thread as JoJo's about 4 hours ago, not DK's about 3 hours ago! Hope the mods can get the techies to get the gremlins out!!

Really, truly, honestly ... I did send money to MT to sponsor the month of February!

This outage just means the price is even higher for each day of uptime. wink.gif

And it's due to MT's wizardry at dealing with the ISP to get AD back up and running. We mods don't have that kind of influence. But I'll add to the pool of hope that AD stays up and speeds up!

Haha, I did get your payment.

Usually the ISP is really good at get the site back up quickly. This last problem seemed a bit more serious. Everything seems to be getting back to normal. The speed seems a lot better that it was 15 mins ago.

We are on a shared server. After they fixed the server problem they had to repair everyone's "tables". After ours was done, and our site was back up, the still had to do other people's. That is very server intensive so that is why the site was running slow.

We who are severely addicted to Allducks have a great deal of difficulty when we are denied our daily fix! Glad the servers are back up and running.

I was concerned, but not overly concerned when I couldn't get a connection yesterday. I figured somehow, someway it was gonna be fixed. AND I have a few Terry Brooks novels checked out from the library that I have to read and return. wink.gif

What? Me worry? laugh.gif

Yeah, thanks MT, for your attention to our wonderful board here. When the board goes down, I think "how will I get in touch with the people in this great community called Allducks" I really need to get someones email to help me cope with these infrequent yet trying times. smile.gif
