I'm guessing Rangers 3-2 in OT or SO.

Prucha has 1-1=2
Zetterberg has a goal
Draper has 2 assists
Shanahan has a goal, an assist and a shootout goal.

Just my predictions...

TSN's Ice Chips:

QUOTE
Updates for Monday, February 5, 2007

Across Canada:

The Latest on the Senators Practice Lines
Bryan Murray has talked about reuniting the "big line" of Alfredsson, Spezza and Heatley but this morning's practice the lines remained the same as they have been the last four games. Besides power play time Murray has put that group together in games, particularly when Ottawa needs a goal or a spark to get something going but for now the lines will stay status quo. What Murray would like to see is his team regaining their same focus they had before the All-Star break. With a full and healthy line-up, Ottawa is 1-1-1.

Injury update: Patrick Eaves left practice early - he is bothered by a sore ankle after blocking a shot on Saturday against Toronto. He should be fine for Wednesday game against Buffalo. - TSN

Forwards
Heatley - Kelly - Alfredsson
Schaefer - Spezza - Fisher
Vermette - Comrie - Neil
Schubert - McAmmond - Eaves
Hamel - McGrattan

Defence
Redden - Meszaros
Volchenkov - Phillips
Corvo - Priessing
Goaltender
TBA

Around The League:

The Latest from Boston
Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli says winger Brandon Bochenski needs a centre to get him the puck, so look for the 24-year-old to get a shot somewhere on the top two lines Tuesday against Washington. Marco Sturm (concussion) most likely will not make the trip, making Bochenski a candidate to play left wing alongside Marc Savard and Glen Murray. - Boston Globe

The Latest from Carolina
With Frantisek Kaberle likely to return to action Tuesday, Carolina Hurricanes general manager Jim Rutherford spent Sunday working the phones in an attempt to clear space for the defenceman. He said he was negotiating with two teams to open up a roster spot for Kaberle, who has missed the first 55 games of Carolina's season after undergoing shoulder surgery in September. If Rutherford can't make a move, the Canes could send a player to Albany (AHL) to make room. - News Observer

The Latest from Chicago
Adrian Aucoin returned to the Hawks lineup on Sunday after missing the past eight games with a groin injury. - Chicago Tribune

The Latest from Columbus
Defenceman Ron Hainsey did not practice on Monday due to a head injury suffered against Flames on Friday night. He is likely to be cleared to play against the Coyotes on Tuesday. - Columbus Dispatch

The Latest from Dallas
Defenceman Philippe Boucher (lower body injury) is expected to go through a full practice Monday. He has missed the last two games. Forward Steve Ott is listed as out 3-4 weeks after having surgery to repair the ankle that was broken last year. Matthew Barnaby (concussion) has worked out a couple of times, but is not ready to return to practices, head coach Tippett said. - Dallas Morning News
Stars put LW Mathias Tjarvqvist on waivers. - TSN

The Latest from Florida
The Panthers sent forward Anthony Stewart back to the minors Sunday, likely meaning injured winger Gary Roberts will return to the lineup Tuesday in Colorado. Roberts has been out since Jan. 2 with a hip flexor injury, and aimed for a Tuesday return. Roberts skated with the team during Saturday's warm-ups but didn't play. - Mimai Herald

The Latest from New York Rangers
Coach Tom Renney won't move Michael Nylander off the struggling No. 1 line (with Straka-Jagr) and onto the second unit, instead choosing to keep his struggling first unit intact while leaving Brendan Shanahan to play with either Jason Krog or Blair Betts. - NY Post

The Latest from Pittsburgh
The Penguins' only healthy scratch Sunday was defenceman Noah Welch. They also played without right winger Colby Armstrong (knee) for the second game in a row. Armstrong's status for Tuesday's game against Nashville has not been determined. - Pittsburgh Post Gazette

The Latest from Washington
Backup goaltender Brent Johnson missed his third consecutive game Sunday because of an undisclosed injury. He was replaced on the bench by Frederic Cassivi, who was recalled from Hershey of the American Hockey League. Defensemen Bryan Muir and John Erskine (each has a broken foot) and Brian Pothier (concussion) remain on injured reserve. - Washington Times

hmm.gif Not sure to put this -- it's NHL.com's version of TSN's Ice Chips, only it's for the week and not daily.

Well, since there seems to be a unique URL for each week's report, you probably only have to post the link instead of posting the entire text. And placing it in whichever NHL GNT is current for the day you find the NHL report works for me anyway. It's not like the report is going to be updated after the NHL posts it.

Posting the link sounds like a good idea (although I may decide to post interesting bits and pieces), especially since I'm already putting in the entire Ice Chips. And I agree about doing it in the current GDT -- that just makes sense.

Well, you almost have to put in the entire "Ice Chips" since the URL is re-used for the current day's version. If you want to pull out the more interesting NHL tidbits, then that's great! I didn't want to add to your posting tasks.
