Defenceman Lukas Krajicek was forced to leave Tuesday night's game after taking a heavy hit in the first period from Edmonton's Zack Stortini. Coach Alain Vigneault would not say if Krajicek suffered a concussion on the play. "I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to call that one," he said. "I think he's day-to-day." -Vancouver Sun
The Canucks have recalled defenceman Alexander Edler from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. - TSN

Mike Johnson was not on the ice. He was having a "therapy" day. Saku Koivu and Andrei Markov left early for therapy as well. Mark Streit practiced as a defenceman. Cristobal Huet will start against the Senators Thursday night. - TSN
