Forward Denis Hamel was placed on waivers. Daniel Alfredsson and Mike Comrie both had today's practice off. Comrie's father Bill was awarded the Order of Canada today. - TSN

Winger Jarret Stoll is still sidelined with a concussion. He first suffered a concussion on January 18. He then came back after the All-Star break, only to suffer a second concussion on February 1. He's not yet working out, so his return is weeks, not days away. - Edmonton Sun
