QUOTE
The Panthers did not extend qualifying offers to 10 players,
including center Matt Cullen and defenseman Pavel Trnka.

Acquired from the the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in January 2003
for defenseman Sandis Ozolinsh, Cullen appeared in 56 games last
season and finished with six goals and 13 assists. Trnka
arrived in the same trade and totaled three goals and 13 assists
in 67 games last season.

You have to remember that it was Rick Dudley (sp) who wanted to trade Ozo. No reason for Keenan to keep players that remind him of a lost power struggle. biggrin.gif

I know from the sound of it, Keenan was never too pleased with either player.

Ozo needs to pull a Turek and take a pay cut now, and then I'd be happy.

I heard pulling a Turek can be painful... rolleyes.gif wink.gif dry.gif

No, no, no. I wouldn't want to see Matt Cullen back on the Ducks roster; that would be taking two steps backward. The Ducks need players who will shoot the puck not skate around in circles with it.
