Across Canada:
The Latest on the Oilers
Ales Hemsky re-injured his righ shoulder on Saturday night, the same shoulder he hurt earlier in the season when he missed eight games. Hemsky left Rexall Place in a sling. The Oilers are already without Jarret Stoll (Concussion), Marty Reasoner (Shoulder), Daniel Tjarnqvist (Inflamed pubic bone). - TSN
Around The League:
The Latest from Boston
Winger Chuck Kobasew is still not ready to return to action. The Bruins had hoped that he would have been able to play against Montreal Saturday or New Jersey Sunday, but it appears Kobasew will need more time to recover from his fractured right elbow. - Boston Globe
Forward Brandon Bochenski was demoted to Boston's fourth line against the Canadiens Saturday night. Petr Tenkrat took his place alongside Patrice Bergeron and Marco Sturm. With Phil Kessel looking like he belongs on one of the team's scoring lines, Bochenski will battle Tenkrat for a spot on the squad's second line for the balance of the season. - Boston Globe
The Latest from Buffalo
Winger Maxim Afinogenov has been cleared to skate but will likely remain out of the Sabres' lineup until April. He is recovering from a broken left wrist. - Buffalo News
Defenceman Jaroslav Spacek, who has been cleared to practice and use his broken left hand, could be back in action within 10 days. - Buffalo News
Forward Chris Drury skated for the third straight day without any post-concussion symptoms and is hoping to play Wednesday against Colorado. - Buffalo News
The Latest from Carolina
Forward Ray Whitney did not take the flight to Atlanta and will not play Sunday against the Thrashers due to a sprained ankle. - Raleigh News & Observer
The Latest from Columbus
Adam Foote will be out of the lineup for at least two weeks after sustaining a high ankle sprain in Friday night's game. Foote collided with Stars forward Mike Modano and twisted his ankle awkwardly. He left the ice and did not return. - The Columbus Dispatch
The Latest from Dallas
Newly acquired defenceman Mattias Norstrom will be making his Stars debut on Sunday when Dallas takes on the San Jose Sharks. There is no clear indication where the former captain of the Kings will play, but all signs point to being partnered up with Philippe Boucher. They have been practicing together as of late, and more importantly, they were partners together for two seasons in LA. - Dallas Morning News
The Latest from New Jersey
Jim Dowd is questionable for Sunday's game against Boston as he is suffering from the flu. He missed practice Saturday and should be considered day-to-day. - Bergen Record
Brian Gionta skated on the Devils' top line during practice on Saturday and seems close to a return. There is an outside chance he may be able to play Sunday against the Bruins. If Gionta, who has missed the Devils' last eight games with a groin muscle injury, can't go against Boston, he will almost certainly be ready to play against the Flyers on Tuesday. - Star Ledger
The Latest from New York Islanders
Alexei Yashin could return to the Islanders' lineup Thursday against the Rangers. He will continue to practice with the team for the next few days and a decision on his return will be made Wednesday. - Newsday
Forward Shawn Bates will miss the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery to deal with a sports hernia. He had missed the Isles' last 14 games with what was considered just a muscle strain, however Islander doctors recommended he undergo surgery to repair damage to his right groin area this past week. - Newsday
Defenceman Radek Martinek will likely miss the rest of the regular season due to a fractured right ankle. It was thought that he might be able to return to action by the middle of March, but it appears that that prognosis was a little on the optimistic side. - Newsday

Go
I agree with SJS, but wouldn't you rather have
Anyway,
I hate to say it, but I have my doubts about the Ducks winning the conference. If that's the case, I'd rather have the Red Wings win it than Nashville (guess which team I hate more?).
Regardless, the Ducks winning their division is the most important thing. They'll find their way from there.
