Kyle Wellwood took part in his first morning skate since undergoing sports hernia surgery six weeks ago and says he should be ready to play by next Tuesday.
Maurice says he will play Tucker a little more in the early going to guage how many minutes he is ready to handle, mixing and matching Tucker and Antropov on Sundin's RW. After that Tucker will settle into a line with Battaglia and Pohl.
Maurice reports no further negative or ominous signs in Tomas Kaberle's recovery. However, he likened Kaberle's first few days as driving from Oakville to Etobicoke in 20 minutes, then getting bogged down on the Gardiner because ice is falling from the CN Tower.
