I am shocked. There are at least 4 or 5 other coaches that deserve this shot over Andy Murray. Just my opinion. dry.gif

regardless of what we all think of him from his coaching days in LA i wouldnt be to shocked he's really turned St Louis around. I mean theyre only .500 now but they were horrible under Mike Kitchen
Since Murray took over and i believe he has them on a 26-16-9 run.

I think Murray's a good choice as well. He tried in LA but couldn't succeed because he was working for a loser organization. He has turned STL around and will continue to next season. Great acquisition by JD yes.gif

I'm not shocked in the least. He is an excellent coach and was hampered by what he had to work with in LA. Canada's in good hands.

Steve Yzerman feels like a rookie all over again.

Two months after taking the job as Canada's general manager for the upcoming IIHF world hockey championship, Yzerman is still getting a feel for the position. "It's been a real learning experience for me," he said Tuesday night from Winnipeg. "Just in calling a hockey player and inviting him or talking to coaches and other general managers.
