I was thinking of starting a message board for my junior team, and was just wondering how difficult it is to start one up with Invision and how much it costs? I may be approaching the team to help pay for it. Thanks!

The big ones don't include hosting....you'd be better to probably use the $10/mth community option.

When i started this site I setup the board myself and didint have it hosted with Invision. I just used a generic hosting company. I learned the hard way that wasnt the way to go. I had problems with the board and the hosting company i was using couldnt do anything to help me. So I lost everything, posts and members. That really sucked.
The setup with Invision was pretty simple. I really didnt have to do anything. Whenever we have a problem the seem to get it corrected pretty fast.
We have alot of traffic so we are currently on the $3o Professional hosting package. I think if you are just starting out you can go with the $10 community hosting package and you should be fine.

That seems like a great deal...if I can't get the team to go for it, I might be able to convince the booster club to pony up. The Thunderbirds have a message board at Network 54 that someone started for free but it blows big time. I'm hoping if I can put together something better looking then that community will migrate over to my superior board. Much like everyone came here!
