You'll find me mainly at the Royal Executions and other outdoor events in the Anaheim area, never farther south... I don't drive, LOL.

On the bright side, the Hawks fans will jump for joy if Goodenow is back as the leader...... Wanna know why? $Bill Wirtz has admitted to not liking Goodenow and will sell the team if he's selected. Only scary thing about it is, some Hawks fans are telling me they'll run around the city wearing their birthday suits around the United Center if he sells the team. LOL

Chelios: NHL players union learned tough lesson

Veteran defenseman Chris Chelios, one of the league's most outspoken players, said that the NHL Players Assn. is ready to move on, one day after executive director Ted Saskin was fired.

"It's a shame that it happened in the middle of the playoffs like this," Chelios said ahead of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Ducks tonight.

"But you learn from your mistakes. You definitely don't learn from doing things right."

Chelios was among the five players selected to head the search committee for a new executive director. He largely led the fight against Saskin's controversial hiring in August 2005.

That may be a sacrifice worth taking. I think the state of the Hawks is sad. I'd like to see them be a relevant franchise.

Lindros: "Player reps to run NHLPA"

The NHL Players' Association could have a new leader within the next two months but he likely won't have the same power as his predecessors.

''The 30 player reps will run the program,'' Eric Lindros said Friday as three days of NHLPA meetings wrapped up. ''Below it will be the executive director and the general counsel.''
