If 4 get in I'd have to say Mess for sure, then Francis, Steven & MacInnis....in that order.
I would disagree with that last name.. I HAVE to defend my beloved Adam... Al MacInnis was an incredible player, that I agree with, however, Adam has spent his career always being thought of as the guy always behind the "great ones" in the NHL. When in reality, he was always 3 steps ahead. All you have to do is look at his stats. Granted, he never won 6 Stanley Cups but does that really have to be counted as to whether or not your a great hockey player?
Adam is ranked 6th All Time in assists behind Wayne Gretzky, Ron Francis, Ray Bourque, Mark Messier and Paul Coffey with 1,063 assists. Way ahead of Al MacInnis who is 12th with 931 and ahead of Gordie Howe, Marcel Dionne, Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman and Doug Gilmour.
Adam reached the 20 goal plateau 6 times, the 100 point mark 4 times and is the 47th player and 15th fastest player to reach 1,000 career points. He is 13th in career post-season assists, 20th in playoff points and had 5 All-Star appearances and still holds 5 All-Star records. Most assists per game (4) tied with Ray Bourque, Mark Recchi, Pierri Turgeon and Fredrik Modin, most points per game (5) tied with Mats Naslund, Mike Gartner, Pierre Turgeon, Bill Guerin and Dany Heatley. Most points in a period (4) tied with Wayne Gretzky and Mike Gartner, most assists in a period Adam had (4) in the 1st in 1993, ahead of Mark Messier who had (3) in the 3rd period in 1983 and career assists (12) tied with Wayne Gretzky and Mats Sundin.
Adam is ranked 15th All-Time in points with 1,402 (Al MacInnis is ranked 31st with 1,074) and 37th in games with 1,337. He is also ranked 23rd in PPG (points per game) with 1.06, ahead of Ron Francis at #26 with 1.04, Ray Bourque at #36 with 0.98 and Al MacInnis at #47 with 0.90. He was a 6-time Lady Bing Finalist.
Adam's time for the spot light is way over due. If he doesn't beat out Al MacInnis to be the fourth player in tomorrow, I will be very upset. Just because the guy doesn't have the resume of Mark Messier or Wayne Gretzky, does not mean he should not be in the HHOF. He deserves it! He's never been given the respect he deserves. For him to be in the same category as Wayne Gretzky is an accomplishment to his dedication as a playmaker and one that should honor his father David for all his dedication for giving his son the ability to understand that scoring is not everything and making the pass and earning the assist is just as sweet a victory.
HHOF 2007~

I'll get off my soap box now.... Thanks for letting me say my peace.
