The NHL draft was a big day around the WHL, with nine picks from the west in the first round alone, starting with Thomas Hickey from the Seattle Thunderbirds going fouth overall. I'm very proud of the Hickster but I wish he hadn't been picked by LA! Everett's Zach Hamill was also drafted in the first round as expected. here is a list of all the 'Dub kids who were thrilled to hear their names called:
