He was a member of the Stanley Cup champion team in 2006-07

According to the team's website, DiPenta has signed on with Frolunda of the Swedish Elite League.

He put a lot of heart in the game... but man did he mess up a lot.

But Joey will be missed. If every player has his kind of drive. You put his work ethic and passion into a Sandis Ozolish and he's a hall of famer. He earned his way onto a very good and very deep team and became a champion. Thanks Joey, you were awesome. Good luck in Sweden.

he was a good 7th defensemen but im not sad to see him go at all.
