NHL’s 90th anniversary season opens with historic games in London

NEW YORK – The National Hockey League (NHL) today announced the television schedules of NBC, VERSUS, CBC, TSN, RDS, HDNet and NHL Network for the 2007-08 season.

HDNET? I DON'T GET FREAKIN' HDNET! Although it appears Versus will have a bigger share of the Ducks this time around. That second game in London and the first in Detroit are already slated for Versus.

'Ice Bowl' redux? Report says NHL will take it outside

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports the Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres will play in the "Ice Bowl" at Ralph Wilson Stadium, home of the NFL's Buffalo Bills, on Jan. 1, 2008.

Looks like it is time to look into switching to Time Warner instead of keeping Dish as VS is only on their top tieir package.
