Hey look everyone, Veca learned a new trick!!! She can now post links!!! clap.gif clap.gif

Well it's nice to see another point of view on the issue of the CBA. Lets hope he's right and there won't be a lock out for any length of time. The sport simply wouldn't survive it.

In Finland Teemu Selänne has said that he is pretty much sure that there will be lockout... :bye:

I really hope there isn't a lock-out, I need my hockey fill, and I'm affraid that UK hockey isn't as exciting as North American hockey

I would have thought that the NHL would see the damage this would have on the game, didn't the MLB go through the samething?

In my second latest Hockey News, the columnist didn't think there would be a lockout either. AS to Teemu, what does HE know? He banked all his dough on the wrong team last year.

Veca, NO lockout, no worries, no WORRIES!!! I said so! hehehehehehe

I'd rather listen an insight by Barry Melrose than listen to Teemu Selanne try to make a judgement call. I say there will be hockey next year, if there's not, I simply can't survive.

Thanks for the article Veca. biggrin.gif

Is that considered an article, or did I say that wrong?

The first real serious hockey I plan to witness is World Cup games in Helsinki. Finland - Czech Republic and Finland - Sweden. Also exhibition game Finland - Germany before those. I will be back in Finland and in court (appeal) on the days the action is on... It would really be fine way to end the bashing of a procecutor watching guys like Selänne, Koivu, Kiprusoff, Numminen, Jagr, Prospal, Forsberg, Sundin, Alfredsson, Pahlsson, Skoula and others in action! wink.gif

Nice to have a positive view out here...as for Teemu...whether there is or not a lockout isn't he not playing in the NHL anymore? So what does his input actually mean to us....get over it Teemu...you made a bad choice and now you aren't worth the trouble...I stand on Veca's side here...NO LOCKOUT!!! Let's get ready for some NHL puck. :bbn: biggrin.gifx: :tu: yes.gif :jason:

If Teemu has retired from the NHL, then he has no personal interest in how the new CBA turns out. He doesn't have to talk the company line from the players union, unlike those who are still playing. If he's saying there is going to be a lockout, then he might have heard something that gave him that impression. With something as tricky as the CBA, it's always good to have an outside opinion (and if Teemu has retired, then that is what he has become) on this mess.
