ohmy.gif I'm not a fan of Brett (he's a bit too smug for my liking) but that would be a major signing by the Coyotes. I'm shocked and stunned blink.gif

I know what you mean Barmy. I thought I had misread the headline when I first saw it. The Coyotes would be a strange place for Hull to end up.

I never said that it wouldn't be a good signing for the Coyotes blink.gif I said that I was surprised that Brett would go to them, I wouldn't have thought he would he moved from Detroit to Phoenix. Anyway I don't like Brett and I really don't want him as a Duck besides we couldn't afford him since we're trying to dump payroll and somehow I can't see Brett agreeing to play in Ducks uniform. dry.gif

This would be a big sign for the Coyotes, because they would get one of the leagues best golascorers, but I can't believe that Hull will go to Phoenix.

Coyotes are really going to be better... Good enough to be in play offs? Most probably battling in the end of the lucky ones and at the beginning of not so lucky.

Gretzky wants a winner. Pure and simple. He's doing everything he can to try to put together a team that has a great chance of taking them to the "promised land." smile.gif

Phoenix has Hull confused with Roenick. It happens all the time. I went to a couple of Yotes games last season, and at one they were handing out posters of JR. They just can't get over him. yawn.gif

Oops, I almost said I love Brett Hull, and that it will be cool to see him 3 times per year, but I love ya Barmy, and if you don't like him, well, I won't say any of the above! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

Wow, if they get Hull they are going to have a great team next year, except for their poor goaltending. Ricci, Comrie, Devereaux, Doan, Nagy, Langkow, Morris, Hull... Phoenix is for real!

EAST VALLEY TRIBUNE: Jerry Brown reports Hull is "95 percent sure" he'll play with the Coyotes next season. It's believed the Dallas Stars offered a one-year deal worth between $1-$1.5 million, while the Coyotes are offering one year at $2 million, with the second year to be determined by Hull's production in the first.

It looks like it is sure, that Hull goes to Phoenix.

Still a rumour. 95% is not 100%. After I see it happen I start to believe, but even without Hull Phoenix is serious about next season!

True to wait to see for sure. But when the stories hit the mainstream, ala TSN, they tend to be more than rumour.

Interesting to see. wink.gif

Doan and Nagy alone always made the Yotes for real IMO. They are such underrated players it's not funny.

Phoenix is developing a great team and I wouldn't be surprised if they got into the play offs; they are taking advantage of all their opportunities that's all I can say. yes.gif

Gretzky and Phoenix are wanting to contend they have the new arena and they have the new uniforms and they want to WIN!!!....Hull will add a lot to the Coyotes if he signs...either way Francaise you'll get your wish...cause if he chooses to go back to Dallas...you'll see him and if he chooses Phoenix....Brett may not be a favorite of mine but he sure has solidified himself as a GREAT ONE in NHL history...if Phoenix signs him, more power to them...Phoenix looks like a team the goes from doormat to penthouse next season...but paper does not always tell the tale as we learned last season...Go Mighty Ducks!!!! biggrin.gifx: :bbn: :tu: yes.gif :jason:

Chemistry is still an unknown between these guys. So far, there is a lot of new personnel in Phoenix, and that takes time to click. Or not, as we found out last year. Time will tell.

My opinion on Hull is he is a bit of a jerk, but he speaks his mind. And you can't argue that he isn't a good player.
