The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed goaltender Jocelyn Thibault to a one year deal.
The 29 year old appeared in only 14 games last season after undergoing hip surgery, posting a 5-7-2 record with a 2.85 goals against average.
Thibault, entering his seventh season in Chicago, is currently fourth on the Blackhawks all-time wins list with 136 and he's tied for fifth on the all-time shutouts list with 28.
A veteran of 11 NHL seasons, Thibault has appeared in 536 career NHL games with Quebec/Colorado, Montreal and the Blackhawks. He represented the Blackhawks at the 2003 NHL All-Star Game, his first All-Star appearance.
