Bruins sign free agent RW Fitzgerald

BOSTON (Ticker) - Veteran right wing Tom Fitzgerald, who spent the last two seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, on Wednesday agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Boston Bruins.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
A Massachusetts native, the 35-year-old Fitzgerald is entering his 17th season, having also played with the New York Islanders, Florida, Colorado, Nashville and Chicago.
"Tom brings experience and leadership to our team," Bruins general manager Mike O'Connell said. "Having grown up in here, he knows what hockey means to the Boston area. We look forward to having him on our team and we feel he will be a good influence on our young players."
Fitzgerald has registered 135 goals and 184 assists in 1,026 career games.

Good sign,I think Fitzgerald could leed the younger players in the third and fourth line.

yes i agree with you jigger.with his great experience fitzgerald can give the young players advices and so on!!!!!
