CP) - The New York Islanders re-signed forward Mark Parrish to a one-year deal. Parrish was a restricted free agent.

Parrish had 24 goals last season despite playing only 59 games with the Islanders due to a major ankle injury.

Parrish, 27, has 94 goals and 173 points in four seasons for the Islanders. Parrish spent the first two years for his NHL career with the Florida Panthers and Parrish has 254 career points (144 goals, 110 assists).
