I wanted to apologize to those enjoying the Ducks/Canucks game here that I interupted.
I am trying to add an exciting new feature to the board but it appears that the mod has some glitches that need to be worked out.

aHA! So YOU were the one that pulled the plug!
Well ... no big deal ... we lost.
However! You should oughta know that you can't do such things while a game is going on. You need to make time for such shenanigans during the wee hours of the morning when, perhaps, most of us are engaged in other activities ... like sleeping, for instance.

Yeah, Reb, "sleeping."
I saw your post in the "rumors" thread, so I know sleeping wasn't what you really wanted to say.

What happened to the board last night during the game? It looked as if the server stopped responding

FWIW,
I used Xeran for a while. Got royally cheated when they were purchased. Can't remember the parent company's name, but I know they're located in Boston (I remember that because I was about to book a flight to "deal" with them).
I'm currently with A2 hosting and have been very happy since the switch. Of course, my volume is much, much lower than this site.

One advantage of dial up - everything is slow!
I haven't noticed any change of speed.
