Roenick seems to be one of the few in this mess who has his head together!

The National Hockey League and the NHL Players' Association are scheduled to have a round of collective bargaining negotiations Wednesday in Toronto.
Jeremy Roenick says that you shouldn't get your hopes up about the meeting.
From what I heard yesterday, there's nothing to be hopeful for," Roenick told FOXSports.com Tuesday.
With the two sides of the labor dispute reportedly far apart on key issues — including the league's insistance of "cost certainty" for its owners, often interpreted as a salary cap — the Flyers center said the NHL is in a bad situation right now.
Roenick said the players keep up to date on collective bargaining news via daily reports given to them through the NHLPA's Web site. But the news hasn't been good, which doesn't make either side all that happy.
"It's obviously disappointing," Roenick said. "Our game is not in the position to go through something that could be as catastrophic as a lockout, as players or as owners. It's hard enough to get our fans into the building. If we have a lockout and just take the game away totally, it's going to be tough to recover from that. It's a tough situation for our league right now."
The guy is 100% right on all counts, and yes, a lockout will be extremely catastrophic! This SUX!
