QUOTE
The Sabres scored their most goals this season. They had scored just 16 times during their 10-game winless stretch.

Atlanta goalie Johan Hedberg allowed four goals on 11 shots before being pulled 12:41 into the game. Kari Lehtonen gave up three more goals on 21 shots through the second period before Hedberg returned for the third.
...
Kotalik capped the scoring with a power-play goal with 2:18 left in the third after Thrashers forward Eric Boulton picked up 29 minutes in penalties when he instigated a scrum involving Hecht at 12:49.

<NHL.com recap>

29 minutes?? That's frustration speaking right there ...

LOL, the Sabres come from losing 10 games in a row and then score 10 goals in the next game? I was hoping they'd lose 8 more in a row though, just so they can beat the longest losing streak.

I had a really long post on tonight's goofy games on my Allducks blog.

I wish more games like these would happen on days the Ducks weren't playing, with at least a couple of them on channels that I get! Florida's win over New Jersey is getting lost in tonight's big shuffle, because now Florida and Washington are within striking distance of Atlanta and Carolina and they enjoy games in hand over Carolina and Atlanta also. Also, those two teams play each other on HDNet tomorrow night.

Cluster***k

Addendum to post:

I wanted to watch the replay of the Queens getting smashed by Calgary, only to find out that this game wasn't going to be on TV either. I know they are bad but that's pretty nasty to not be on the air for that long.

Lovin' the Buffalo win (Sabres are my #2)... Not too happy that it took a long winless streak to do it.
