Enforcer George Parros is off injured reserve after missing three games because of a bruised knee he suffered Jan. 9 against Toronto. To make room for Parros, Drew Miller was sent to the minors. - LA Times
Defenceman Alexei Zhitnik was a healthy scratch for the first time in his career on Sunday. - Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Glen Murray continues to skate on his own as he recovers from a hip injury. He'll rejoin the Bruins on Monday and could return at the end of the week. After beginning workouts on the stationary bike last week, defenceman Andrew Alberts suffered a setback in his attempt to return from a concussion. It's possible he will not make it back this season.- Boston Herald
Goaltender John Grahme has cleared re-entry waivers. - TSN
Chicago coach Denis Savard credited Patrick Lalime with the turnaround in the team's play. "[Khabibulin] is part of our team, and he's going to play some games," Savard said. "But right now Patrick's playing tremendous, and I'm going to continue to go with the hot hand." - Chicago Tribune

Nicely done on the standings.
The Kings need to start winning some games so they won't be the odds-on favorite for the number one draft pick. And it's obvious the Dead Things are hell-bent on winning the President's Trophy since they missed out on it last season. They can have it.

And FWIW, Phoenix is three points away from the 8th seed.
