If they are it will be one kick ass series. And driving up to San Jose isn't bad.

I still find winning the Division quite appealing.

I personally like my chances vs. the Sharks more considering our regular season performance against them. Dallas is known for choking in the playoffs though. I still think we'll have the best chance to go deep into the playoffs.

i think it will be the Sharks, the only question is who will have home ice...

Given the Sharks games in hand and their lead over the Ducks at this point, I think it's more likely that SJ will win the Pacific than any of the other scenarios.
The Ducks have won 12 of their past 15 games and still lost ground. Factoring in games in hand, Anaheim has to close a 7-point gap on SJ over the remaining 11 games. That's a stretch, IMO.
OTOH, I think it's quite possible for the Ducks to pass Dallas and earn home-ice advantage.
So, I'm thinking:
2) SJ
4) Anaheim
5) Dallas
just in case and
to help the team get there. ... and
to make me look like a fool when the Ducks win the division again. Which brings me back to

Tis a wee bit early to be counting on matchups. There is still a lot of hockey to be played, including the final 8 games against the Pacific Division. Nothing will be determined until the final day.

I'm with 432j and see San Jose as in the driver's seat for our division. All three of us in the race for the Pacific have eight of the same games left: two each against the other four in the division. Extra games are:
DAL: Van +@Det
SJS:@Nash + StL + Edm + Min + one extra @LAK
ANA: Van + StL + one extra @Phx
Dallas is in tough with DET (1-2 against them)) and VAN (2-1 but traditional bitter rival fighting for their playoff lives).
San Jose gets patsies StL (3-0)and Nash (3-0) and Min (3-0), Edm (1-2) and LAK (1-3)
Ducks have Van(0-3) StL (1-2) Phx (1-4)
So San Jose has three extra games to make up one point to tie Dallas, and considering they get teams like StL, Edm, and an extra with the Queens, the writing is on the wall.

That spells it out pretty clearly.
5-6 weeks ago when SJ was in a funk, the games in hand didn't seem to mean a whole lot. Now, you see that list and have to believe there's more than one point in there.

It may be up there, but the graffiti removal team is still going to chase after those vandals. While our boys will have to do everything to help themselves, there are other forces that can still come to our aid.

as long as it is not the Wild, I dont care. I am tired of hearing Minnesotans talk about how the Ducks play dirty.
They signed freakin Chris Simon!
