TSN's Ice Chips:
Rookie center Ryan Carter (wrist) is expected to skate this week and could be available for either of the final two games on the weekend against the Kings and Phoenix. Ater missing three games with a shoulder injury, Ryan Getzlaf returned to the lineup and collected two assists against the Stars. Doug Weight was a healthy scratch. - LA Times
Centre Patrice Bergeron will spend the next two weeks trying to add strength in his neck and body and adding weight so he's physically up to the challenge of returning. - Boston Herald
The Hawks made one lineup change from Saturday with Yanic Perreault replacing Dave Bolland (ankle) as the third-line centre. Jason Williams suffered what head coach Denis Savard thought was a charley horse late in Sunday's game. His status will be evaluated Monday. - Chicago Sun Times
After playing the previous three games, Peter Forsberg (groin) was a scratch against the Wild on Sunday. - Denver Post
Defenceman Ron Hainsey, left winger Fredrik Modin and goaltender Pascal Leclaire -- all out because of head injuries -- skated Sunday and reported no ill effects. All three are expected to join the team in practice this week. But defenceman Dick Tarnstrom is still having concussion symptoms and could be out for the rest of the season. Forward Ole-Kristian Tollefsen, out because of a cracked vertebra in his neck, is awaiting word from doctors regarding possible surgery. - Columbus Dispatch

Joni Pitkanen will have an MRI on his injured groin Monday and is doubtful for Tuesday againsy Calgary. Mathieu Garon is doubtful for backup duty in either of the team's last two games (ankle). - TSN

Goalie Dan Cloutier is out because of a sore groin/hip flexor on his right side and is scheduled to be reevaluated Monday. - LA Times
Defenceman Greg de Vries, who missed his fourth straight game with a broken rib, was scheduled to meet the team Sunday night in St. Louis. He's expected to return to the lineup against the Blues on Tuesday. - Tennessean
Head coach Tom Renney said Henrik Lundqvist is likely to start against the Penguins Monday. After saying last week he would meet with the general manager of his former team in Russia, Jaromir Jagr refuted the suggestion that this would be his last season in the NHL. "I never said I'm leaving," Jagr said. "You guys are already kicking me out. Maybe you guys don't want me here, but there are 29 other teams where I might have a chance." - Rockland Journal News

Vesa Toskala's streak of 29 consecutive starts will end Tuesday as seldom used backup Andrew Raycroft will start against the Buffalo Sabres. The Leafs had a light skate for half an hour. John Pohl took Bryan McCabe's spot on defence. McCabe is visiting his pregnant wife on Long Island. - TSN
