The Long Island native stopped 27 of 29 shots Thursday as the seventh-seed Lynx upended the No. 2-seed South Carolina Stingrays to take a 1-0 lead in their best-of-5 playoff series. Game 2 was last night.

It was the Bobby Cedar Rapids fans knew and loved; hyperactive, quick as a wink, and really good.

"I have no complaints," Goepfert said. "I'm enjoying this."

Goep's is 3rd in GAA (2.10) in the ECHL right now. Who woulda thunk it? Also tied for 6th in SV% (.922)
