TSN's Ice Chips:

QUOTE
goducks1ux5.gif Ducks' forward Corey Perry skated Saturday prior to Game 2 of the Ducks' series with the Stars, however he still was having issues with swelling around the tendon's in his injured quadriceps. He will not likely be healthy enough to return in the first round. - LA Times

col.png Peter Forsberg and Ian Laperriere did not practice on Sunday but head coach Joel Quenneville said everybody who played Game 2 is likely to play Monday, and that includes rookie David Jones. - Denver Post

min.png Forward Mark Parrish (concussion) did not make the trip to Colorado and will not play in Games 3 and 4. Defenceman Nick Schultz (appendectomy) skated with the team Sunday but is not ready to play. Forward Branko Radivojevic (right leg) did not practice Sunday and was seen wearing a brace on his knee. The Wild gave conflicting information on his status for Game 3, with coach Jacques Lemaire saying he would not play and general manager Doug Risebrough saying it's still possible he might. - Denver Post

nsh.png Centre David Legwand (foot) did not skate during the team's optional practice Sunday and his status remains in question for Monday's game against Detroit. - Tennessean

ott.png First line centre Jason Spezza did not take the morning skate Sunday after reportedly jamming his leg in Friday's Game 2 loss to the Penguins. The Sens called up Alex Nikulin from Binghamton of the AHL to take his place in the lineup if Spezza can't play in game 3. - TSN

pitt.png Left winger Ryan Malone (illness) didn't practice on Sunday, but coach Michel Therrien said his lineup "should be" the same on Monday as it was in Game 2. Jeff Taffe skated in Malone's spot with center Evgeni Malkin and right winger Petr Sykora during Sunday's workout. - Pittsburgh Tribune Review

sjs.png Sharks defenseman Christian Ehrhoff took part in a full practice Saturday for the first time since suffering a lower body injury against Los Angeles on April 1 and hopes to be in the lineup for Game 3 Sunday. - Mercury News

wsh.png Defenseman Shaone Morrisonn and center David Steckel returned from injury for last night's playoff opener against the Philadelphia Flyers. But the injury news wasn't all positive. Jeff Schultz, another defenseman and a key contributor on the penalty kill, missed Game 1 with an undisclosed injury and his return for tomorrow's matinee remained uncertain. - Washington Post
