Edit: Uhhh, the Preds game is supposed to be on NBC, but here in DC NBC is showing golf... what's the deal?? Golf??? It's the Verizon Heritage, not even a big deal (as far as I know, and that's not much when it comes to golf). Come on, NBC! Gimme some playoff hockey!

And it may be but, seeing how easy the Central is, shouldn't this have been a cakewalk for Detroit? Nashville is matching them stride for stride so far in the first.

The Predators entered the game trailing the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in the series. General manager David Poile said doctors diagnosed Arnott on Saturday. His injury may have been caused by a teammate's celebration of his Game 3-winning goal.

Yup, after he scored the GWG he jumped up against the glass and his teammates mobbed him. He either hit his head on the glass or on the boards when they all fell down on the ice. Arnott went to the bench and was having trouble, although he gave an interview after the game, he hasn't returned to the team. Talk about bad luck...

3-0 btw
I stand corrected, they scored an EN. I wasn't rooting for Nashville over Detroit or vice-versa. I'm surprised it took Detroit 6 games to put them away given how weak the Central is.

Joel Lundqvist did not skate for the Stars on Sunday. His wife Amanda went into labor this morning with their first child. Coach Dave Tippett is hopefull he will play tonight. - TSN

I don't follow either team close enough to know that. I do remember Chicago beating Detroit a couple of times, but before the season even started I picked Detroit as the first division winner given the weak Central.

Time for everyone to join the Flames' quest to keep the Sharks away from the second round.

Hah, the Sharks never get past the first round it seems. Except last year. But Detroit killed them in that series.
