This one I'm not sure I can watch. I was able to watch the Col at Det yesterday....but this one.....I'm not too sure....

I do hope they all beat the crap out of each other all series long though.

Best thing ever would be for the series to go to game 7 with with multiple OT games. Let them wear each other down.

Peter Forsberg, a scratch in Thursday's Game 1 because of a groin injury, was not at practice on Friday. He will be re-evaluate and is listed as day-to-day. Forward Woltek Wolski was missing from Friday's practice as well. Head coach Joel Quenneville says it is an upper body injury and Wolski is out indefintely. He's unlikely to return in this series. Goaltender Jose Theodore practiced Friday and says he expects to be in net for Game 2. Theodore was pulled in Game 1 on Thursday night due to an illness. - TSN

Injured defencemen Sergei Zubov may return to the Stars lineup in time for Game 1 Friday. Head Coach Dave Tippett wants Zubov to take the morning skate before determining if he will be healthy enough to make his return. - Dallas Morning News

Detroit likely will be without forward Kirk Maltby and defenceman Brad Stuart for Game 1. Maltby is nursing a hamstring injury, and Stuart is in San Jose with his pregnant wife. - Denver Post

Goaltender Mathieu Garon has accepted an offer to join Team Canada for the World Hockey Championship. Forward Sam Gagner will join the team as an alternate. - TSN

Former coach Doug MacLean is interested in returning to coach the Panthers, the same team he coached for four years. MacLean has said he will talk to GM Jacques Martin. - Plam Beach Post

Rangers coach Tom Renney will dress enforcer Colton Orr for tonight's game against the Penguins while forward Ryan Hollweg sits out. - TSN

Flyers defenceman Jaroslav Modry will return to the Czech Republic on Saturday to attend the burial of his father, Jaroslav Sr., who died after a seven-month battle with colon cancer. - The Canadian Press

Forward Gary Roberts (groin) took part in his second full practice Friday, but his groin felt tight after yesterday's skate. Roberts missed two games in the first round against Ottawa (Games 3 and 4) with a sore groin. He will not play tonight's matchup with New York. - TSN

Defenceman Kyle McLaren did not skate at Sharks practice Thursday and is not expected to be in the lineup for Game 1 against Dallas Friday. - Mercury News

Wow, what a game that was! I was kinda hoping for overtime just cause it would've been cool, but a great win by the Pens nevertheless.

Edit: Did you guys see Crosby's post-game interview? Worst. Playoff beard. EVER. You don't realize how young he is most of the time based on how he plays and how he carries himself, but man, you can tell with that "mustache" just how young he really is.

I had the channel on when the game first started. Then I quickly changed it. Then we started watching the 3rd period....then it goes to overtime....at that point you can't help but keep watching.

I'm glad that Dallas won. .

In a game filled with fortuitous bounces and deflections in which nearly every goal ticked off a skate or took a lucky hop, the Rangers took their big lead on goals by Straka, Chris Drury and Sean Avery against Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury.

But as secure as that 3-0 lead must have looked to Rangers fans with Vezina Trophy finalist Lundqvist in net, the Penguins have the speed and the skill to get back in a game in a hurry. And they did.
