Talk about bad offiviating! First the refs stop play for nothing but a TV break. The the Pens don't get called for Too many men, while they were with something like 9 men on the ice and then the Rangers get called for hooking, but I couldn't see the hook! Just, wow...

The reffing has been overwhelmingly bad and biased towards Pittsburgh. Ruutu has been hacking at Jagr's hands the whole game and nothing's been called. Lundqvist has saved their butts repeatedly even though he's been run again and again (no calls). Having said that NYR is slow and predictable and Pittsburgh has been skating circles around them.

Too bad Bobby Ryan wasn't called up to play some minutes in last years Final. In that way his name would've been on the Cup before Crosby's. Let's hope the Pens doesn't win it just yet.

heh. I went on a mini tirade between the 3rd period and OT talking about how much I don't want Crosby to win because I'm tired of hearing his name.

The Penguins, the conference's worst team two years ago, will meet the cross-state Philadelphia Flyers, the conference's worst team last season, in the first all-Pennsylvania conference final. The teams haven't met in the postseason since the Flyers' six-game victory in a 2000 second-round series best remembered for Philadelphia's five-overtime win in Game 4, which occurred eight years to the day Sunday.

"You want a rivalry, there's one right there," Crosby said of the oft-contentious season series in which Philadelphia won five of eight. "It doesn't get any easier."
